Classes temporarily delayed...but not by too much!

Announcement about the Joomla! Beta Course

Ever wanted to scream at the developers who post about the greatest extension ever! The one you've been needing.... the one that may just solve all of your issues....and then weeks go by and wait? what?! They said a few days!

I've had those moments, still do. I'm frustrated, eager, excited, and very annoyed all at the same time.

Well it's my turn now. We are experiencing some audio difficulties with the video's for the courses, so we will be delayed by at least two weeks.

That's the bad news.... now for some good news..

Web Cafe Club Re-Launch!

Written by // Marni Derr Categories // Web Design

We've decided to come online early....

It has been a whirl-wind year, and it's only April! Well, in 2 days anyway.

I have decided to throw the new site up and bring the old site down. As I never actually got back to my tutorials in January as I planned.

Things have settled down and it is back to writing I go! All new K2, Zoo, and Seblod tutorials, followed by the opening of a Joomla 2.5 online workshop course...and many more things...like regular blog posts....

hmmmm...

Joomla 1.5 Support and Updates Extended Through September 2012

Categories // Joomla

You Should Still Plan a Joomla Update!

The Joomla! developers announced that they will extend patches and security update releases for J1.5 through September, instead of April.

Good news or bad? I guess that depends on whether you have planned or executed your site upgrades. It buys more time, but at what cost? If you don't have to upgrade, will you? Some will, some won't, but I strongly urge everyone still using 1.5.x to begin a site migration plan, and start it now. You have 6 more months, use your time wisely.
